Any business can sponsor and any person 18 and over can attend, any salon, cosmetology schools, OR other business or performer may be in! Just ask!

For the Cosmetologist participant/s there is also - "HAIR BRAWL"™ and a competition that takes place during and after HAIR BALL®.
"HAIR BRAWL"™ gives Professional Cosmetologists and opportunity to compete - For 12 different 'trophy plaques'.

At our root Hairdressers are artists!!

We attend beauty school with grand ideas for creating hairstyles in what seems like an industry poised for our entrance. But (everyone I know has a big BUT) for many of our compatriots, the salon reality so often becomes an endless stagnation of creativity! 

Whether you attend the HAIR BALL® event or want to be an "Active Salon Partner", this will be one of the most stimulating and fun evenings you will have all year! Period.

Artists need to show what they do - and you know it!!

The "HAIR BALL" event started when my salon was continually asked to do hair and make-up for metro Detroit’s fashion shows in 1985 & 1986. After doing many of these fashion shows I eventually did a skit ("performance art") of my own (as an "opening" act) to further promote my salon - and I called it a "HAIR BALL" show.

By 1986 this became an event of itself called the HAIR BALL® show and then the Real Big HAIR BALL® event!

What my salon came away with is not only name recognition for doing the bazaar but also - the beautiful on stage, and I gained REAL salon team motivation and growth!

Hairdressers that participate are re-energized, re-charged and also bringing in more new young clients.

While Hairdressers and Artists who attend are inspired, entertained and re-motivated!

The EVENT consists of up to 14 local salons that put a "skit" together, or attend and be a part of the ambience of the event. They find models, come up with their own concept and music, do the hair, make-up and etc. for their "skit".

Sometimes it looks like hair salons doing 'America's Got Talent.'

This is your opportunity to get involved by doing a show, or attend and see a bunch of hairdressers doing some outrageous hair, and putting a "skit" together in as creative a way as they can dream!

Artists need to show what they do, and you know it!!

MOST IMPORTANT - this event builds a salon team, provides artistic "liberation" and draws new clients to the salon as a direct result of salon participation. ALSO - IT'S JUST FUN!

Moreover, there is REAL value in developing "name recognition" through the *FREE ads* for participating in the event but also the attention from the "HAIR BALL" event attendees! (1,500 +)
